D (+)-Raffinose pentahydrate is the most famous trisaccharide in nature, which is composed of galactose, fructose and glucose. It is also known as raffinose, melitriose and mili trisaccharide. It is a kind of functional low glycan with strong proliferation of bifidobacteria.
